Calcium stearate is a non-toxic stabilizer and lubricant. It has hydrophobic effect and also acts as an internal lubricant. It is very compatible with all rubbers and Plastic material.

Applications it can act as an acid scavenger, a lubricant and a release agent. It  used in plastic colorant concentrates to improve pigment wetting. In rigid PVC, it can accelerate fusion, improve flow and reduce die swell.
